Welcome to the Georgia Police and Fire Games in Cherokee County, Ga. From June 8-14, 2026, Cherokee County will welcome first responders from across the country to participate in the 42nd Annual Georgia Police and Fire Games. Participants can showcase their skills in individual and group events including a bass tournament on Lake Allatoona, a golf tournament, pistol match, marksman competition, 3v3 basketball, mountain biking, Toughest Cop, Toughest Firefighter, a motorcycle rodeo and more. This is a family friendly event, and we hope you bring your families to cheer you on and explore all Cherokee County has to offer. Discounted hotel rates, family activity discounts, and dining discounts will be available. 

The event is open to all active and retired law enforcement, firefighters, EMTs, and other public safety professionals in the U.S. For official rules, click the rules button.

Check in will be Sunday, June 7, 2026. Games will start Monday, June 8, 2026 and run through Saturday, June 13. Sunday, June 14 is scheduled for rain date in case of inclement weather during the week.
