Mission Statement
The mission of the Cherokee County Drug Lab is to aid Cherokee County Courts in monitoring criminal offenders with alcohol and/or drug related issues and reducing drug and alcohol related recidivism rates by providing reliable, cost effective, random drug and alcohol screening.

The Cherokee County Drug Lab conducts drug and alcohol testing in coordination with the Cherokee County Court System and Accountability Courts. The lab is located at the Historic Courthouse, 100 North Street, Suite G23, Canton, GA 30114. The entrance is on the ground level at the back of the building.
Lab collection hours are 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM, seven days a week. Afternoon testing is available by appointment only for non-Accountability Court participants, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
Additional testing services, including hair testing, sweat patches, and blood spot testing, are available by appointment only. To schedule, call 678-493-6578.
A valid photo ID is required at the time of testing. Payment is due at the time of service. Accepted forms of payment are money order, certified check, or a credit/debit card in the name of the individual being tested. The standard drug test fee is $35 unless otherwise specified.
If you are court-ordered to test at the Cherokee County Drug Lab, or if you are assigned to the "color wheel," you must check in online or call the hotline and report for testing as instructed, with valid ID and payment. Test results will not be given over the phone. For confirmation of a positive result through forensic testing, a $65.00 payment must be submitted during collection hours within seven days of the original test.
