Cherokee County Program Year 2025 CDBG-HOME Annual Action Plan Public Hearing Notice

A public hearing will be held at 10:00 am, Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at the Cherokee County Administration Building, Salacoa Room, 1130 Bluffs Parkway, Canton, GA 30114. The intent of the hearing is to review comments on the recommended content of Cherokee County's Program Year 2025 Annual Action Plan. The Action Plan includes specific projects in Cherokee Cunty that are proposed to receive funding through HUD's Community Development (CDBG) and HOME Investment Partnership (HOME) Programs. These projects are designed to serve the needs of low-and moderate-income persons that are prescribed by the program regulations. The Annual Action Plan constitutes the grant application for $1,127,016 (CDBG) and $470,191.16 (HOME) which must be submitted to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to receive Fiscal Year 2025 CDBG Program and HOME Program funds.
