    About this Board

    The Board of Elections and Registration was established by local legislation per HB 644 and 642. HB 644 amended the 1991 Act that created the Board of Elections and abolished that Board on June 30, 2023. The new Board of Elections and Registration established by HB 642 became effective on July 1, 2023.
    Four members appointed by the Board of Commissioners. Fifth member appointed by the Board of Elections and Registration.
