Director Bio

Tony Bryant came to Cherokee County in 2020 as Director of Fleet Managmement. Prior to 2020, he was the fleet maintenance supervisor with Republic Services, a company out of Mocksville, North Carolina. Prior to that, Tony was the Transportation Manager at Dobbins Air Force Base in Marietta, Georgia.

Mr. Bryant also served in the United States Army in various global locations. He retired from Dobbins Air Force Base after serving 20 years. Tony has three children and two grand children. He enjoys the many local lakes, fishing, and coaching softball. With a very diverse and unique background, Tony brings over 30 years of maintenance experience to the county.
